The Office of Open Questions, steirischer herbst’s education program, invites you to experience the diverse program of steirischer herbst based on 100 open questions. If you’d like to discover the extensive festival parcours in a group rather than on your own, we offer three guided tour formats: From Thursday to Sunday, Im Fokus (In focus) devotes one hour to an in-depth look at a particular artistic position and discussion with experts. Allianzen (Alliances) brings together several exhibition venues as well as fascinating discussions with artists or members of the curatorial team providing background information. Finally, the tour is rounded off with a visit to a performance. If you’d like to explore the whole parcours in greater depth, Landschaften (Landscapes) lets you do just that in an eight-hour tour de force, stretching and breaks for drinks included.
For teachers wishing to visit steirischer herbst with their classes, there are two workshop formats dealing with selected artistic positions. In addition, we show films by participating artists in special school screenings in the Styrian Diesel movie theaters.
